Taberna dos Mercadores is a cosy restaurant at Rua dos Mercadores, at Porto's riverside.
They only serve authentic portuguese food, as they believe in the richness of our cuisine.
The restaurant has a "tavern" spririt, full of pine wood and bottles of wine, and its tableware is an inheritance that tell us a lot about the northern portuguese chinaware.
The basis for this identity were the pine wood and the chinaware, giving us the main material and the color. The script text, the brown paper and the information display on the menu are all elements that were inspired by the portuguese tavern tradition.
